I just tested it on my  home ethernet LAN and was able to see all 
drives, including  CD and mounted disk images. My setup consists of an 
iMac G4/800  running OSX10.2.4 connected via ethernet hub to a B&W 
G3/450, currently booted into OS9.2.2. From the B&W I can see and 
access the CD currently mounted on the iMac.
