I'm pretty sure OE is an entirely self-contained program. (I burned the OE folder onto a cd one time and about a year later, I opened it up and everything was right where i left it. It was like looking back in time). So, I think the simplest way would be to back up the entire OE folder, or slightly less over kill, back up your "Main Identity Folder". If you have multiple people using OE, you might find the name of Main Identity to be whatever you have customised it to be.
Outlook Express 5 / Identitties / Main Identity Not sure where the addresses are kept.
