Well since you are using USB 1.1.  I had a Iomega Zip 650 CD/RW its a 
bit old but getting a newer one won't matter if you are using 1.1 since 
that limits your speed anyways.

The good thing about the Zip650 is its supported by iTunes and Mac's 
built in burner in 9 and X so you don't need any other burning 
software, and it usually comes with Toast Lite 4.1.3 I think it was... 
though that only works in 9.

I just did a quick search with Sherlock and there is one ending in a 
little over 3 hours and one ending in around 7... both are around 30 
bucks right now.

I've had 4 different burners and the Iomega gave me less troubles 
(platters), heck I had less bad burns with it than I do with the built 
in Apple one in my G4 733 Digital Audio.  Though I haven't had one bad 
burn yet with my built in one on my iBook 800.
