I've been looking at these, too. I've read good reports online about the Epson CX5200, which has pretty impressive specs on paper: IIRC, its printer is the same mechanism as the C82 and the scanner mech. is the 1260's. MacResQ sells 20-packs of its ink cartridges for a good price. The price of the CX5200 has come down a lot lately. It was selling for 350 Euros for a long time, but recently its price has dropped to 225 Euros (about US$230 or so).
