You are incredibly lucky you did not get yourself killed. The charge 
that remains in those CRTs can be LETHAL.

Yes, there should be a tiny pinhole on the extreme right side of the 
"slot" for the slot-loading drive. The old straightened-paperclip 
should do the job.

You might also try simply restarting the machine with the mouse key 
held down. That often ejects discs.

Very VERY unlikely, but you can find out by using the following method:

1. First, set up a completely stable system. No oddities in behaviour, 
no unexpected crashes or freezes. This part is VERY IMPORTANT to 
testing the RAM.

2. Add ONE of the PC DIMMs to the iMac. Run the system for a while (a 
few days) to see if a) the memory is recognised and b) if you see ANY 
unusual behaviour in the system (like kernel panics/crashes/freezes).

3. If you're feeing bold and the system seems stable, replace the 
original RAM chip with the second PC 133. Keep the original around for 
a while till you're sure that the system is running stably.
