I've got a Rescue Disk for my flatpanel 15" iMac. It has 9.2.2 OS and Disk Warrior and TechTool. It USED TO boot the iMac okay, but made a lot of noise doing so. So I made a disk image and burned another CD...and then another. They all make the noise. And now, neither of them will complete the boot. They go through the whole routine until the last moment when the desktop appears and then nada. It just hangs there with a background, but no icons.
