Re: dvd's won't work :(

my iMac DV 400 seems to have an issue I am not sure how to solve.

tried to install an older version downloaded from version tracker and it
claims that it cannot install unless I am running OS 9.0.4 or higher
duh, I thought 9.2.2 was higher?
any clues for me?

Do you have the original software install disks that came with the 
iMac, if so, trash your present DVD player software, re- boot from 
the install disks.> select custom install> then select the dvd 
player>select install..
