I assume desktop printing here is perhaps also described as screen capture? Doesn't happen, I am the 800Mhz iBook, 9.2.2 and two Epson 760's (one as a spare).
Printing the desktop sort of smacks to me of something one would do in a Windows environment, but then that's just me...
No, Bryce, what is being discussed is having a printer icon on your desktop. To print a document, you just drag-and-drop the file on the printer icon.
