Jack, I agree I didn't need it either until a print job kept telling me to increase the memory to the printer. I do not know any other way to do this except with a desktop printer on the desktop. Even than I am not sure it can be done. Since I haven't use Desktop Printing since I got USB.
I couldn't find an answer on Epson's site but someone on this list did. Thanks for everyone's help. maxtek Date: Wed, 28 May 2003 17:06:54 -0700 Subject: Re: Epson Desktop Printing From: Jack Russell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> On Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at 02:28 PM, JimRCGMO wrote: > I'm using the Epson 740 with my PowerBook under 9.2.2 and it doesn't > appear to do Desktop Printing. You're correct. The 740 / 740i do not support desktop printing. I learned this after I bought a new 740 years ago. (I don't believe any of the later Epson printers do?) I remember reading an article in one of the magazines about a hack, but I just learned, I really did not need it. Jack Russell -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
