Next, you should open up Stuffit Expander by itself, and go into the preferences and tell it to delete the stuffed files automatically once they are unstuffed. .DMG files require one extra step over "regular" Stuffit files, because they are "disk images" not just folders. After copying the contents of the disc image to the correct place, you should drag the "mounted disc image" and the DMG file to the trash.
