Um....no.  The hard drive has to be spinning and the heads moving in order
to access files.  If your machine is off then this is impossible.  That and
your Logic board controls the channels to your HD.  Trying to word it
politely...getting a headache.

There is no way your machine can be hacked if it is turned off.  Period.
