It's really simple. There are 2 CRT manufacturers. Each (at one time) made a corresponding PAV board. You can tell which CRT you have by looking at the left side of it. If there is a large black sticker (6" x 3" or so) then it is an LG. The sticker covers the Manufacturers label so it is not visible through the translucent case. Now both of those PAV boards have been replaced with a new model that has a switch that allows you to use it with either CRT. It's hard to see the switch unless you have the PAV board out, but it's towards the front under the CRT when installed. It has different positions for the different CRT types.
