In his article, "A Week with an eMac Finds It an Excellent Value," I noticed that Dan used Carbon Copy Cloner to copy his internal HD to an external HD. I checked out Carbon Copy Cloner's web site, to find out that it makes bootable backups of your hard drive.
When I bought an external HD, I backed up my entire internal HD in one drag-and-drop operation, including the applications and the files. Should I assume that I did NOT make a bootable backup? I'm on an iMac DV 400. Thanks, Claire -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
