I just bought an airport card to install in the 15" flatpanel iMac, so I
can use it to connect to Internet via phoneline, from my iBook (also equipped).
However, guy at the applestore said the iMac has to be booted into X
for that to work? I'm a bit confused, because I remember hearing about
sharing computers back when X was just an option...is he right? If so,
what do I have to do?
thanks,

An Oklahoma man, Charles Pretty Boy Floyd, was a bank robber during
the Depression. Many Okies were losing their farms when banks
foreclosed, so Floyd was a folk hero. He was killed in a hail of gunfire
from lawmen. More than 20,000 people attended his funeral. Read
OKLAHOMA, by Donald Henry Hinkle, published in July 2003 by Enslow.
