May I suggest calling your ISP first and then Apple? Also, if you'd please give us some more information on the problem. What do the errors say? Was the iMac brand new? Are the dial-up settings correct?
My .02, the ISP may be kicking her for inactivity. Call them and see what help they can be to you. Also, it's glad to hear of someone that age using a computer. I purchased a new iMac for my grandmother (72 y/o) and she simply couldn't get past the fact there were no "set instructions" on how to use the computer. Interactivity and telling _IT_ what to do really boggled her mind. :) Chris On 7/31/03 1:41 AM, "Dale Hill" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have a friend who is 83 years old.
