Hi all,

I am currently in the process of having my power/analog/video board
replaced on my 600 MHz iMac (Summer 2001) after it decided to cease
functioning. Unfortunately, this computer was less than two months out of
warranty. No need to insert lectures on AppleCare. I have already done
that.

Anyway, I am curious to know if anyone has any ideas on what commonly
causes PAV board failure or what steps, if any, can be taken to
prevent future failures. Any adivce is appreciated. Thanks.

Jim
