I want to set up a Firewire drive (120G) as an external boot drive for our flatpanel 15". First--I "hear" that some Firewire drives don't boot. How do I find out if mine will? 2nd -- do I just install Jaguar on it straight? and then install DiskWarrior and TechTool? 3rd--does Carbon Copy Cloning work completely? i.e., could I just use it to copy the entire HD and OpSys to the Firewire and have a bootable backup? 4th--does CCC work without condensing? For instance, Retrospect condenses as it stores, which, to me, makes it unusable in case of a complete diskwipe. I want to be able to just boot from a CD and drag everything back to the restored HD (if that happens, heaven forfend). thanks, -don
