Hello, again. I trashed Dreamweaver, restarted, reloaded, restarted,
updated, and restarted. During the whole process, I made sure I didn't have
my external HD on to confuse the issue. I finally got past that Site > New
Site issue!!!!! I did jump through a few hoops to get things going, the
whole time thinking that I was going to regret my choices, but somehow I did
create a web site that actually works (with some help from my son.) I still
have questions that I'm posting to a Dreamweaver list. Now I'm editing the
site to work out the rough spots, and I have another question that I think
is a Mac question rather than a Dreamweaver question. Again, I'm using
9.2.2 (not Classic) on an iMac DV 400.

I have a field on the left side of my web site. I decided that I didn't
like the gradient, so I edited it to my liking. I uploaded the revision.
When I look at what the web site WILL look like, the gradient is revised.
When I look at the uploaded web site from IE on my son's PC, the gradient is
revised. But when I look at the uploaded web site from IE on my Mac, the
gradient is still in its original form.

Does this have something to do with cookies? Or is this an IE/Microsoft
thing? If it's cookies, what can I do? I've quit, gotten off-line, and
tried again, to no avail.

Thanks,
Claire
