Is there anybody on these lists who might have a list of the frequencies that
could be emitted by a Macntosh iBook?

The reason for this is I sometimes any number of radio reception devices
within three feet of the iBook

Ideally, and nothing is really ideal in thisworld I should be using an
external antenna, particularly for the Yaesu VX5
handheld radio. Have other amateur rigs, connected to outside antennas;
and the older Macintosh Powerbook used there so far causes no problems.
Put a scanner in the shack, and lots of audio interference problems!

Sometimes I would simply like to listen as opposed to particpate in
conversations,
using a Uniden bearcat 245XLT to listen
to conversations either of an amateur nature or
for listening to railway conversations.

I could install a cavity to allow only specific frequncies,
 however this seems to be going to extremes.

Frequencies monitored are in the 144-174 MHz band; other frequencies
if monitored don't seem to cause the same problems.

Any ideas or suggestions?
