Did you know you can usually set preferences to not download attachments? At least in Eudora and other programmes out there. There's also a preference to delete messages from the server after x-days so the attachments don't use up your space. And I believe there's a shareware app called POPMonitor that allows you to access your mail account and delete mail prior to downloading. With all the problems with attachments these days, I don't understand why anyone would want to automatically download whatever anyone who has their email address wants to send. Reminds me of granny who would pay for every COD package sent to her, regardless if she had ordered anything.
