How big or small a disk for HFS+ be superior over HFS?

Actual drive is 2.1GB.

For use on older Macs I consider 2GB t o be the break point between using HFS and HFS+, and i have tested the hypothesis with 4GB and 9GB drives on a Quadra 840av.

However, on anything powered by a 604e or better I always use HFS+ regardless of the drive's size, the CPU is able to overcome most of the lag imposed by using HFS+, to the extent that it is not noticeable on most 200MHz or faster machines.

My PM5500/225Mhz 603e might be better off with HFS then!
