weeeeell, I wouldn't go that far, but it's the best all-around browser 
for the Mac. Quite possibly the best browser for any computer platform.

The version being offered is Safari 1.0 - is this still beta?

*I have heard of SOME people who who have caching problems with Safari 
-- ie they see "old" versions of pages. I haven't run into that, but I 
thought I should mention it.

Also, I highly recommend that you use Safari Enhancer or some similar 
tool to turn on the "Debug" menu in Safari. The reason for this is that 
there are some sites that behave oddly if they detect that you're not 
using Microsoft IE like a good little zombie. Ergo, the Debug menu can 
be used to "fool" these sites into thinking that Safari is IE. Stupid, 
but that's the way these poorly-coded sites work.

If anyone on this list is using Safari, please let me have the benefit 
of
your experience.  Thanks
I've been exceptionally happy with it since day 1. I strongly recommend 
you read the Help sections on tabbed browsing and bookmarking if you're 
new to these concepts, they WILL change the way you work with browsers.
