So I'm about to chuck my FP iMac out the window. Is it normal for the internet to be slower on OS X than OS 9 when using a modem? It's almost unbearingly slow in OS X, yet when I use my old 233 iMac with OS 9, it zips along like nothing. Is there a setting that I"m missing that might help it speed up a little when connecting with the modem?
