Second question: how do I figure out when my Mac was built? It's a slot
loading DV. I recently maxed out the memory, so it's far smarter than the

A freeware program called "Mactracker" is excellent. It includes information like the above, but also pictures, sounds, and many general technical specs. If you've already upgraded to the maximum RAM, it's probably just what you're looking for.
