Its a burnt CD that I have, but it was copied from a legal copy. So there is nothing illegal about it, I just lost the "real" copy that I used to have and screwed up the copy process. Instead of copying the CD entirely I dragged the files from one to the other. Anyway it never seemed to be an issue before, but that was before I tried putting it on an iMacs. I am going to search for Mac OS install CD's, I'm sure they are out there. As far as the OS setup assistant is concerned I'd like to use it. but I could go through it the hard way and specify all those settings individually. I'll know more this morning and if I still have problems I will elaborate on the issue.
Thanks for all you help though, I really do appreciate it! Mac users have always been the most friendly and helpful of any use of any product.
