I've just purchased 128MB of PC133 low-profile (bottom slot) RAM and installed it into my iMac. The profiler is reading the 64MB high-profile RAM in the top slot but only reads 64MB of the new RAM in the bottom slot. I have the following questions:

Is it reading low because its PC133 and not PC100? I would have thought that if this was the case the profiler would show no RAM rather than half the amount.

Or is it because the bottom slot can't read more than the top slot? The vendor advertised it as suitable for 233 iMacs so I can get a refund if I need to, but would rather have the RAM as it was cheap!

Advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Many thanks
Chris in the UK
