Hello, I manage the office network for an ad agency. Overall we are a wintel shop, but we have a design department of about a dozen mac users including both full time folks and freelance designers. We already have all the non-production creative folks (writers and directors) moved to OSX. Over all it was pretty easy. I did not do much training with employees, but rather let them give it a shot then come to me with questions. Since they are far from power users (word, email, and web usage only), there needs were minimal, and there is not the type of deadline/production pressure that there is with the rest of the department. With the production/designer folks I need to make sure that they hit the ground running and are fairly up to speed with the new OS with minimal disruption to their workflow. Can someone recommend a good book that outlines the differences between OS9 and X that would make a good reference for developing training for our users? Also, can anyone recommend any good lists like this one focused on OSX for network admins? I am using OSX on my desktop (imac DV also running XP on another machine) so I am familiar with the OS and I really like it. My big knowledge gap is with unix. I remember hearing of a unix for OSX book. Does anyone know of this? THANKS, Matt
