And so should we all listen more to that inner voice because it's usually the voice of wisdom. Current research and much past anecdotal experience supports that. When we ignore it, as you did recently and I certainly have in the past, we get into trouble.
I think it's the same voice mentioned in the book of Isaiah:
"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left."
As one spiritual author puts it, "It is the 'still, small voice' of Truth uttering itself."
