My rule is not to put a new update on my main Mac. I put it on my second Mac because I couldn't get it on my third (LC 630)

There is a rule, well my rule, on updates for OS X. From it's 1st release, which I bought, any updates...wait a month or so before you update, let others do the beta testing and read about the problems that mess up their machines, when things calm down and they have happy Mac's then use the update.
