I think he's got it!

The AW 6.2.7 says on the disc compatible for both systems 9.2 and OSX
however somewhere in the back of my mind there was a comment before
your's about the
non compatiblity of the two versions.

Now if I find a 6.2.5 version (and I suspect it is only on the master
install disc)
will programs which I have saved under OS9.2, using
6.2.7, will these programs be backwards compatible and moreso
how does one make sure the iBook doesn't go searching for AW 6.2.7?

I guess I could erase all of the AW files on the hard drive having to do
with either program and start fresh;
however having been down that bumpy road in the past, makes me want to
take this real easy.
If am in OS9.2 does the computer go searching in OS X for the program or
does it go searching in 9?
There is nothing on the five install discs(two iBook install) three iBook
Restore (suspect these are
the OS 9.2 discs )

IN any event shall try and do a download of 6.2.Five...

Personally prefered five but there you are...

And to chagrin of others I am posting this to both the iMac and MacCanada
lists...some may see the reply
one place, some may not see it in the other place...
