Help! My partner spilled milky, sugary coffee on the keyboard. We took all the keys off and wiped down everything with hot water but still does not work at all.
I've heard many stories of people who completely washed their keyboard (ie immerse in water) and then THOROUGHLY (double emphasis that) dried it and voila.
Is there anything else one can do or should we just get a new one?
Having said the above, a new Mac-compatible keyboard is going to cost you between $25 and $60 depending on what brand you buy. How much is your time worth? If I were you, I'd buy a new keyboard. And make a new rule about drinks near the computer.
