As a full time Apple Technician I can tell you from experience that
Maxtor makes the best and most reliable ATA hard drive on the market.
Seagate is 2nd, but they run hot and are NOT recommended for use in
iMac's.  Western Digital fail the most of all, and IBM is pretty bad
too.
