It is a HD limit that is common to every machine that doesn't include at LEAST ATA-100, and many machines that do. the only machines that don't have this limit are machines with ATA-133's and most (all?) Macs with ATA-100 and some very few PCs with ATA-100.


It is a per drive limit.
