I am using OS X10.2.6 on a iMac 400 DV. The problem started after converting a iMovie file for burning purposes to a xxx.mpg ready for Toast . After houres of converting and complition the system stucks. Restart knob and all OK, but. The mac functions 100 % under OS X. No problem with OS 9.2.2 but starting under OS 9 (not classic) there is a big problem. On a first look de startup works well but after that the descktop is there, the little arrow changes in a little turning watch and continius undefenitly (in a loop?). No program can be started. The only thing i coud do is force a stop by option/ command and escape. All starts over again after a crash of the finder. So OS 9 is no longer usable (classic, no problem). Even start from a startup CD does not works
No way that I can use OS 9 (for scanning as example via a USB/SCSI convertor (witch do not function under classic or OS X).
I can not locate the problem so I can not cure.
Whats going on and how can I solv this problem.
PSE help... Thanks
Herman
