It seems bizarre to me that the present X version of Appleworks (and perhaps previous versions as well) don't utilize one of the Mac's strengths--the ability to read text aloud in whatever voice we choose. To get this to happen I must copy the text into Text-Edit, which glories in this power. Whaz up, Apple?
