But what I'm hearing from you is that my idea of getting an external USB SD card reader probably wouldn't help, huh? In December I'll be at my parents' house for the holidays, and will have the chance to try it on their 400 MHz iMac running 9.2.2, and my brother's eMac running 10.1.5 or so. Hopefully I'll have something worked out here before then. I haven't been taking many pictures/movies because moving 128 MB of files from the card to the camera to the Mac in 8 MB chunks is not something I look forward to.
