I bought it without hard disk and RAM, with the knowledge that there could be something wrong with it. However, whatever the fault *may* be, it may also be easy to fix...
I took the hard drive and RAM from my iMac 400DV and fitted it.
The problem:
The Mac cannot find a startup disk, either the hard disk or a number of bootable CD-ROMs (Norton, MacOS etc.) I hold down the "C" key and all (I have messed with many broiken Macs).
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be preventing the Mac from seeing a startup disk ?
Laurence
