OK, sorry about that......the display was set to go to sleep before the screensaver was to activate. I made the appropriate changes (screensaver to activate at 10 minutes, display to sleep at 15 and computer to sleep at 20) and that fixed it. My iMac gave me the solution, it was going to sleep properly and I just compared settings.
