virex on my iMac won't boot. I doubleclick on it, it flickers on the Dock, but doesn't boot.
You mean you are trying to launch from the dock? Single click is all that's needed, right?
Drag Virex off the dock. Poof. Create another alias, add to the dock, and see if that works.
