Sorry, I wasn't clear (3 times iMac list bounced this message for one reason or another, so I made it shorter each time).
Ah, yes, sigh.
I clicked directly on the application Virex in the applications window.
After I clicked, I saw the icon appear briefly in the Dock, but then it disappeared, and nothing opened.
Got any ideas?

Who needs Virex? ;-) Pref that could be ousted? Re...r Per.......s (Guess the missing letters!) Reinstall Virex (Hey! It's Friday night! Why not?)
