I just sorted out and and tidied my address book and want to replace the .Mac one on my account with it without Syncing what is on my.Mac account with the one on my Mac (thus undoing all my hard work!). Any ideas?
Doesn't syncing use the most recent file dates? So if you haven't changed anything on your .mac account since you changed them on your Mac, then I would think that you should be ok. But just to be safe, make a copy of your address book and stash it on an external drive or burn it to a cd
