My experience with PacBell (SBC outside of California) has been good. they supply the service and stay out of the way. Not very Mac friendly, but they don't do anything to prevent using the service with a Mac.

I need some DSL recommendations with some prices. I was going to use
MSN but
they never came through. They kept extending the delivery date 4
different
times and I got fed up and canceled.

MSN+Mac = VERY BAD IDEA.

Well, the price was right. But I really cant argue with you on that one.

Where can I find the best price?
