Does anyone here have a LaCie D2 FireWire hard drive? If so, does the Apple System Profiler show what brand the internal hard drive mechanism is?
Does anyone know anything more about the new LaCie F.A. Porsche designed FireWire hard drives than what's on their web site? As best I can tell, other than being a slightly bit smaller and a bit cheaper, the major difference is the case design. Is the new case aluminum, like the D2s? Anyone know anything else?
