He said it had a slot-loading CD-ROM drive which means it HAD to be 350 MHz
or faster (Slot loading came with the "Kihei" 350 MHz model as the Rev. A, B
C and D were tray loading). "Summer 2000" makes it a DV400, 450, 500
(Indigo, Ruby, Sage Graphite or Snow) or an 350 (Indigo) - both models came
with the newer keyboard.

In any case, the CD-Rom drive will be a 24x CD-ROM or a 4x DVD-ROM, which
wont work without suitable adaptors - they are in a Laptop profile case
(Refer to Mark's answer).

Long story short - Ram will work as the iMac and the B+WG3 in question both
take 168-Pin PC100 SDRAM. Hard disk will work for obvious reasons.
