Problems with classic

Hi, when I had some repairs done on my Bondi Blue, the tech upgraded my 
OS from 9.1 to 9.2.2. I then upgraded to OS 10.2.6.  Things went well 
for a while, but all of a sudden I am having problems when I try to use 
classic to run my scanner, (which guys on this list help me get running 
after the upgrade :) . The classic system doesn't load properly lately 
and then freezes my computer. Any ideas? I tried to do a reinstall of 
9, but it will only let me do a clean install because I only have the 
9.2.1 CD, not 9.2.2. If I do a clean install of OS 9.2.1, does OS 10 
remain the same? Will that mess up anything? Thanks for any help you 
can give me to help me understand my mac!
