I have a 400mhz, cd rom, with 256 ram, 10gb hardrive... imac dv (what does the dv stand for?), 10.2.8 running great, over due for a Norton's or Disk Warrior clean up. Today for the first time it didn't wake up, a dead mouse, then pushed the "on" button and it restarted no problems. However later I made sure to put asleep via the apple menu vs. letting it sleep on its own, woke up with out a problem. The question is it better to put it asleep via the apple menu, or can I still let it sleep with peace of mind? thanks, david
