Hello all
This annoying problem may have a simple fix, but it's eluding me.
At the office, I have a new eMac (system 10.3), my secretary has a rev. B iMac (system 8.6)
The back up CD's that I burn on my machine can't be read by hers.
I've donkeyed around, but can't find any way to alter the format, even under the new Disk Utility. It says I can, but when I go, as instructed, under the menu item "image" the "burn" option is greyed out, and that's where, apparently, the capability lies to change formatting procedures.
I've looked in the "Missing Manual" and in help files, but I'm stumped. A frtend says that changing the secretary's machine to OS 9 should do the trick, but I don't think that should be necessary.

TIA for all suggestions
