A while ago I did a clean re-install of OS 9, having first backed up the
System, Documents and Applications folders to CD. All went well until I
tried to launch Nisus Writer 4.1.6 and got an error message asking me to
enter the registration number.

This was a free, unsupported download; I can't and won't bother Nisus about
this, and I've long since lost the email with the number. Copying the prefs
from backup doesn't help. I'm just wondering whether the registration info
can be retrieved from somewhere on those backup discs. Anybody know?

Miche.
