Lately the screen on my Rev A iMac has been getting a bit shakey and I'm starting to wonder if it's on the way out. After having a look on the 'net I've found lots of examples of people moving the parts from an imac into another case (One guy built his into a 21 inch monitor) and plug an external monitor into the plug round the back thats normally covered by the iMac case.
At the current prices LCD monitor are looking pretty good and I was just wondering if anyone has tried one with an iMac (and the right adapter) and what things I should look out for.
Thanks, Grev
