Now to figure out if I can actually play what Santa dropped off.....
SimCity 4 says I need "Hardware 3D acceleration required: ATI Radeon or NVidia GeForce card (32 MB VRAM or better.)"
I have an iMac 17" flatscreen, 384 MB. 800 MHz, PowerPC G4. I don't see anything in the Apple Profiler re graphics acceleration.
Will SImCity work?
Is it possible to add graphics acceleration?
In System Profiler, under Hardware, click on the PCI/AGP item. My two year old G4 iMac 15" has a GeForce2 MX, so you have at least that or better. Thus the answer is Yes! you should be able to run it on your 17" G4 iMac
